Craftmanship that stands the test of time
Founded in 2024 by experienced joiner and boat builder Mark Sutherland, we bring exceptional craftsmanship honed over 13 years experience, complemented by a degree in Design from Goldsmiths University.
We pride ourselves on our keen eye for detail and passion for precision. Every project is completed to the highest standard, whether it involves bespoke furniture, period windows, or intricate boat restoration.
Working across various disciplines, including ecclesiastical joinery, heritage joinery, cabinetry for homes, and wooden boatbuilding. Our passion lies in creating robust yet beautiful woodwork designed to fit our client’s preferences with consideration to the history of the boat or building.
Mark’s love for boats began in childhood, and after eight years of woodworking, he turned his craft to boatbuilding in 2020. This transition enhanced his skills, allowing him to shift his focus from the precise right angles of kitchens and cabinetry to the elegant curves and lines of yachts.
We keep an extensive library of historic books on topics ranging from curved work to traditional panelling, as well as a number of Georgian and Victorian catalogues of profiles and patterns. Alongside our personal knowledge of historic architectural joinery and of traditional boat design, this library helps to inform us when drawing up period accurate designs.
We’re always happy to discuss a project, so please do get in touch for advice or a quote.
